OUR FACILITIES
We appreciate being trusted with your most treasured possessions. This is why we pride ourselves on having a nurturing environment where our children feel safe and able to learn.
Our room is designed to give the children a holistic experience. Resources are set out, so they can be reached by the children and are chosen to stimulate all their senses and their learning and development of the prime areas of the EYFS.
PINK BUTTERFLIES
3 - 24 months
Our baby area is well equipped for children aged 3 months to 2 years old providing baby spaces for up to 6 babies per day. The area is arranged into three prime areas. Promoting different aspects of the young children's learning such as physical heuristic area providing our children with the opportunities to take part in a wide range of sensory activities.
PURPLE BUTTERFLIES
2 - 3 years
Our toddlers share the same area as the preschool which provides the toddlers with a chance to see and do what the big children do and to embrace the many and varied experiences your child will be facing upon reaching school. The space is set out to encourage and enable learning throughout all areas of the EYFS through play. We encourage our children to grow in independence and actively engage our children in making choices and selecting resources.
BLUE BUTTERFLIES
3 - 5 years
Our preschool team provides an inspiring environment for children aged 3-5 years, supporting them with building their skills and independence preparing for school. Our preschool staff set out to provide resources and opportunities for learning for all the areas of the EYFS. We promote our children in growing their independence and making their own choices actively encouraging them to self-select resources and activities.
OUTDOOR BUTTERFLIES
All Ages
Butterfly Lane East Dulwich Nursery does not have a garden, however we provide daily outings for all children and encourage outdoor learning and experiences. Take a look at our daily outings timetable below:
